Brrrrrr

I officially hate snow.

I have always had a dislike for cold weather, i would rather be hot than cold. And i think Christmas/christmastime is always prettier and better with snow on the grounds but that is it. December and January should be the months with snow; no more after or before then.

I think college makes you hate snow more because you either have to walk in it or wait for the bus in it or drive in it. In my case, i have to walk and wait in it. Ironicially enough, one of the worst snow/cold times for me is having to walk from my calculus lecture in Swain East which ends at 2:15 to X158 in the Academic Center which starts at 2:30. Not pleasant in the slightest. Another reason i can not wait for warm weather and spring and all that comes with it.

Waiting for the buses in the cold, wind, and snow is annoying and freezing but i have learned to pay attention to when the buses arrive, at least the times it comes around to the dorm, so i know that if i can time it right enough i wont have to wait for very long which is always appreciative. But then i always came to realize that in the mornings, the first bus that comes around is already 85% full so if you do not get on that one, you have to wait another 5-10 minutes for the next bus and then you're hurrying to get to class which just so happens to mean walking fast in the snow and worst of all slush. Slush is gross and messy and annoying.

Today was a day to hate snow. The boots i wore are apparently not very durable or thick because all the snow and slush and water that got onto them and didnt get knocked off when i walked, melted onto the shoe which just so happen to melt through the shoe and soak my socks and make my feet and toes frozen and numb.

Glorious day for snow.

I blame the groundhog.
