So today, April 4, is Easter. I went home for Easter weekend and enjoyed a very relaxing day with my family and some friends were also home. I have to thank my parents first and foremost for once again driving down here to pick me up and bring me home for the weekend since I unfortunately have no car here at school. Yes it sucks. But i also will thank them for taking me to dinner and to a movie after having picked me up :)
Saturday was a productive day, if I do say so myself. I got my hair cut, my nails done, went to see the doctor for my sore throat, went and visited one of my friends who I have not seen for like two years, had ice cream with another friend that i have known since elementary school, got dinner and watched Greys Anatomy [which my parents taped] with my mom while my dad and brother went to a guy movie. So all in all...i got everything i needed to get done in that day and saw old friends. Pretty good day.
Today was all about family. Went to church with my parents and brother then proceeded to my grandma's apartment where all of my family [and i have a big family] came and we enjoyed a nice day outside thanks to the weather. My two cousins, who are transferring down here in the fall and living in an apartment with me down here, came and we enjoyed talking excitedly about decorating the apartment and having a "housewarming" party and it just made us that much more excited for the fall. As well as shopping in the summer. I also got to see my cousins who all[three in total] go to BSU, so their schedule is as busy as mine with school. After eating and having plenty of conversations, we decided to make a trip the Dollar General down the street and buy a cheap wiffle ball set. We convinced my dad and my uncle as well as more cousins to join in the game which became pretty hilarious. I dont know the last time we had a game like that, including the adults, but we had a really good time. Got all hot and sweaty and i personally had to look forward to driving back to school right after leaving there. But it was a really good day in the sun with the family. Can't complain about that.
So i hope everyone had a very good Easter because i know i did.
